Overall results of classification

The results of the entire classification as such, before further analysis as described in chapter 2-6, can be accessed over the link to the catalogue of investigation, given in chapter 2-5.

The results of further analysis are described in the following paragraphs for each main graphic aspect or drawing model separately, according to the procedure described in the previous chapter.

All drawings corresponding to one of the graphic aspects or drawing models investigated are accessible in the picture archive (see the menu item "Archive structure - Picture series"; note the selection criteria described in the prvious chapter).

Graphic appearances without recognisable aspects of a human figure drawing

With regard to the selection of drawings showing non-figurative aspects, excluding drawings with parallel assignments of pre-forms and of all types of human figure drawing, the classification result is for

• the entire selection: drawings = 95, age range = 2 to 15, countries = 19
  
• 2/3 of the selection: age range = 2 to 4 years, average = 3.2 years, countries = 18

Preliminary formal appearances before or in parallel to schemes of types I to V

With regard to the selection of drawings showing pre-forms, exluding drawings with parallel assignments of all types of human figure drawing, the classification result is for

• the entire selection: drawings = 155, age range = 2 to 9 years, countries represented = 25
  
• 2/3 of the selection: age range = 2 to 4 years, average = 3.4 years, countries = 21

Type I

With regard to the selection of human figure drawings according to type 1, exluding drawings with parallel assignments of types II and III, the classification result is for
